Leaves, twigs and grit build up in gutters over months. Then a summer storm hits, the water has nowhere to go, and it spills over the back of the gutter and under the roofline. The first sign is often a brown stain on the ceiling or a drip near a window.
We clean gutters by hand, flush the downpipes through to stormwater, fit gutter guard where it makes sense, and check the roof for cracked tiles, rusted sheets or lifted flashings while we’re up there.
